Artist Statement

Resilience is the thread that runs through all of my work. Whether I am painting women, flowers, or landscapes, I am drawn to subjects that embody quiet strength, transformation, and the ability to endure and flourish.
Women in my paintings are symbols of inner power, complexity, and grace. Flowers—seemingly delicate—carry deep emotional weight as emblems of renewal and resistance against time and fragility. Landscapes offer a broader emotional canvas: places of solitude, memory, and healing, often reflecting the internal worlds of the figures I portray or standing on their own as testaments to the enduring force of nature.
These elements are connected in spirit. Each painting becomes a space to reflect on beauty, vulnerability, and strength—not as opposites, but as layers of the same experience. Through color, form, and emotion, I strive to honor the resilience found in both people and the natural world.
